July 10th depart Seattle: Depart from Sea Tac airport (Seattle) at 9:00 am aboard Continental Airlines arriving into Newark at 5:22 pm. Depart Newark at 7:50 pm for our flight to London Heathrow airport, Continental Airline Arriving into Heathrow at 7:55 AM on the 11th of July. We will have two in flight feature movies. July 14th - 15th The World Youth Games London: Last year 11 countries, representing 3 continents took part in this is a two day volleyball tournament. Two age groups... 18 &16 and under divisions. Day two of the tournament, This year teams from, England, United States, Switzerland, Taiwan, Latvia, Germany, Scotland, Israel, Ireland, Holland. The 1999 Goodwill Ambassadors Under 18 Girls team went UNDEFEATED to win the World Youth Games. July 16th-19th Paris: An early AM departure to Paris via the Euro Star
train. We will travel under the English channel (through the
"Chunnel" and arrive in downtown Paris. A full sightseeing tour of
Paris with a local guide. The Louvre, (see the Mona Lisa) Place de Concorde,
Arch de Triumph, Notre Dame, and the Eiffel Tower, will be included on our
tour. Take the elevator for an unforgettable panorama of the city, (not for
those who dislike heights). The Paris: A tour to Versailles . Versailles is a 30 minute train ride to the outskirts of Paris. One of the most Beautiful Palaces in Europe. The Palace of Versailles is also where the peace treaty of the First World War was signed in the famous Hall of Mirrors. Volleyball matches in the evening. Paris: Sightseeing, and shopping then a volleyball match a players social is planned for after the game. Personal sightseeing, and shopping are planned. Perhaps a walk along the Seine River or go to the Hard Rock Cafe one of your favorite places again. July 20th-22nd Geneva: An early morning train departure for Geneva, Switzerland. Upon arrival in Geneva we will walk to our accommodations at the Geneva Youth Hostel. The Geneva Youth Hostel address is; 30, Rue Rothschild 1202 Geneva, phone # is 022-732-6260 Geneva: A full sightseeing tour of Geneva . A visit to the United Nations Building, with a guided tour is planned for the afternoon. Geneva: A visit to the Olympic Museum in Lausaune is planned in the AM. A trip to the beach, to play beach volleyball, swim and have a picnic. A mini sand volleyball tournament is planned for the afternoon against local players. July 23rd-26th Venice: An early morning train departure for Venice,
Italy. We will visit the ancient city of Venice. You may take Venice: A full sightseeing tour of Venice with a local guide. A mini-volleyball tournament is planned for the evening against local teams of Treviso located just outside of Venice. A players social is scheduled after the competition. Venice: Free day in Venice, Sightseeing and shopping July 27th-30th Rome: An early AM train departure for Rome, possibly the highlight of the entire tour--- Ancient Rome. Upon arriving we will go to our accommodations at the Scott House Hotel Via Gioberti 30 Rome Italy 00185 phone 39-06-446-5379. Play volleyball against our Rome Host club in the evening. Rome: We will have a full day of guided sightseeing, the sights will
include visit the Vatican, the Coliseum, the Rome: Perhaps return to some of the exciting sights of the previous days tour, the Vatican, Roman Coliseum, Sistine Chapel. One half day of sightseeing and shopping, one half day of swimming in the beautiful and warm Mediterranean. Bask in the warm sun on one of the public beaches. Rome: Departure 1:20 pm from Rome back to the United
