2014 Junior Grass Series at Highline College

This summer the Highline College Volleyball team in conjunction with Sports For Youth Foundation and the United States Volleyball Association are proud to host a series of 4 grass tournaments.  Each tournament will be it's own event with playoffs and awards for each event.  A series grand prize for the top 4 finishers in each age group will be awarded at the end of the series. General Information...
Players must pre-register prior to the event (walk up / late registrations are subject to a $25.00 late registration fee)
All players need to be USAV registered members. (not a USAV member ... click here to go to the USAV regional site to register online)
Don't remember your USAV # ?  You can access your USAV account .... (click here to access your USAV account and retrieve your number)
All teams are comprised of 4 persons ... normally the same age group
Players may play older than their age group but may not play younger than their age (as per USAV age definitions)
Teams may be comprised of mixed ages of players but must play at the oldest players age group
Check in is 8am -8:45am late check in teams may be dropped from the event or charged a late fee
The tournament will start at 9am sharp
Non-playing teams will be assigned to referee

Format..
Pool play followed by a modified double elimination playoff
Tournaments are normally compleated by about 5pm

Food area..
There will be food allowed near the playing area, BBQ and other cooking devices will need to be kept 100 feet away from the court areas.  Please clean up after your selves.
